Item Description
3x5" lined index card signed in dark blue ink by 1931-1946 "Bronx Bombers" Yankees team manager McCarthy. The first manager to win pennants for both National and American League teams, McCarthy won nine League titles and seven World Series championships – record tied only by Casey Stengel. McCarthy was elected into the Baseball HOF in 1957. Card is also signed in black felt tip pen by Stengel, the 1949-1960 Yankees manager. He has added "Hall Of Famer" below his name. Stengel became the only person to manage a team to five consecutive World Series championships (1949–1953). He then went on to win two more World Championships (1956 and 1958), and five more American League pennants (1955–1958, 1960). Stengel was elected to the Baseball HOF in 1966. VF. Great double-signed piece for the baseball enthusiast and Yankees fan. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
