Item Description
10.5x16.5" mailing envelope contains complete premium issued by Ralston in 1953. Margin wear from mailing and scattered moisture staining at margins. Original mailing label. Fine. 10x16" die-cut stiff cardboard unfolds to make space helmet designed to fit over head. Design includes lightning bolts on top, simulated ear holes on sides, back has a pair of "Oxygen" tanks. Comes w/"Mystic Strato-Viewer" sheet to be inserted into die-cut eye opening which is just a silvered plastic sheet. Includes original business-size envelope with printing noting the enclosed "Mystic Strato-Viewer." Aside from this sheet which shows loss to silvering, rest of premium has never been assembled and is Exc. overall. Great design.
