Item Description
1930s for “Simond’s Saws.” Founded in the 1860s, the company is still in business today. 7.25x24x22” tall overall hand painted high quality all wood display. When plugged in and switch is turned on, jointed Popeye and Wimpy figures move back and forth as if sawing log. Likely made by a company employee to exhibit at county fairs, trade shows, etc. Light dust soil and aging. One of the motion belts has stretched a bit, but display still works well. Overall Fine/VF. Wonderful concept and design.
