Item Description
Two items, each on 2.5x4” cards. First card has fountain pen inscription “Palmer Cox Brownieland April 3rd 1894.” Corner tips have mounting trace, autograph area is Exc. Second card has india ink original art and poem with full figure Brownie pointing to inscription and hand lettered poem “To Ellis D. Robb Wishes Bright, Wishes White, Wishes That Will Bear The Light, From The Author And The Sprite.” Signed in fountain pen ink “Palmer Cox Brownieland, 1907.” Card is lightly but evenly tanned with trace of light dust soil, mounting traces on blank reverse. Fine. Interesting pair, especially with a poem handwritten by the noted creator. Comes with Hake's COA.
