9.25x12.25" hardcover written by Golden Age Batman ghost artist and editorial cartoonist Jerry Robinson is subtitled “An Illustrated History Of Comic Strip Art”. Copyright 1974, published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons N.Y. 258 bw and full color pages complete with dust jacket. First title page has superb 3.5” tall India ink drawing of Batman and inscription “ For Ron-Dear Friend, Colleague, And Neighbor-Love, Jerry 1975”. Dust jacket has dust soil and edge wear. Near Fine. Book and drawing are Exc. A comprehensive history of comic strips further enhanced with classic Batman art by the author. Comes with Hake's COA.
