c.1962. Made in Western Germany. 4.75x6.25x13.5”tall box has nice lid art on three sides w/robot mining operation directed by large center robot. Box is worn w/masking tape remnants around sides. Just Good, but complete w/all inserts. Robot is 3.5x4x11.5" tall hard plastic w/attached hard plastic remote control battery box. Toy features great design including transparent body so inner mechanism is visible. Also has glow-in-the-dark head which still glows brightly. Toy is designed w/five actions that work well: Arms go in and out, walks forward, bends up and down. Complete w/original foam inserts for hands. The antenna is a modern replacement, back is missing three buttons, helmet is slightly warped on back and back clip is broken off but the helmet stays on. VF+ appearance. Classic design.
