Text reads "Woodstock Music & Art Fair Presents An Aquarian Exposition Wallkill, New York August 15-16-17." ©1969 David Byrd, who supplied the exceptional art for this poster. At center is nude woman pouring water and is surrounded by ornate simulated stained glass design. Hand-signed in black felt tip pen by the artist. Exc. Next is 25x37.5" frame containing 24x36.5" original printing glossy paper poster featuring art by Arnold Skolnick. This classic poster printed by Rapaport Press includes list of performers and various event activities Aug. 15-17, 1969 in final location - White Lake, NY. Poster has been hand-numbered in pencil w/low number "2/144" and has been hand-signed by Skolnick in pencil. Scattered lt. wear w/color touch-up to 3.5" crease line along left center margin. As framed, displays VF. Comes w/small 8.75x9-1/8" framed matching COA from Woodstock Ventures that has been signed in pencil by Skolnick and notes "This Is 2 Of 144 - Arnold Skolnick." All three have been framed in "The Woodstock Limited Edition Frame," made "From The Barnboard Found On An Old Shed Directly Behind The Stage On The Side Of The 1969 Woodstock Festival." Both posters have engraved brass plates w/text reading "The Woodstock Limited Edition Frame" and numbered COAs affixed on backs. Original location poster is frame 52 of 75 produced and the larger poster is frame 51 of 75 produced. These custom-made frames were used to frame things other than Woodstock posters, these two being just a few of the original Woodstock posters to receive this treatment.
