1935 issued by Ralston Purina Co. for “Ralston Straight Shooters Club”. 9x12” envelope w/Checkerboard Square return address has inked address of recipient in El Paso, Texas. Envelope has lt. creasing. Fine. Contains 8.5x11" certificate w/name of member matching envelope address filled out in ink in proper place in center. Lower left has printed text for witness "The Old Wrangler." Bkg. has nice design w/"TM" checkerboard logo in sunburst design. Text by Mix states the "Ranch Boss" title "Carries With It The Highest Honor I Can Award To Any Of My Straight Shooters." Exc. Certificate is rare, listed in Hake’s Pop Culture Guide at $700 in NM, and the envelope is unlisted.
