Item Description
This is a most unusual three part limited issue item. At top is solid brass spread-wing eagle perched on a scroll inscribed "Protection/Sound Money." This holds an incomplete but 3.25" tall flag ribbon that includes the names "McKinley And Hobart" at the bottom. Small brown mark at center right. A loop suspends a 1.25" silvered brass medallion reading on the front "National Republican Headquarters 1896." The reverse has a hand engraved name with raised lettering surrounding and reading in full "Presented To John R. Wilson By The National Committee." The metal parts are Exc. Only example we've seen. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
