Item Description
This convex sheet of tin has a stippled outer border and is more or less designed as a large shield. Reverse has soldered on bar pin. Front center has large profile portrait of McKinley surrounded by large lettering "Protection/1896/American Industry." About 40% of the silver flashing is missing, mostly from the upper corners, which makes the piece a bit difficult to see easily but still an incredible large badge and the only one we've seen. Sen.
