c. early 1960s. 7" dia. ceramic w/images of early American life. Freedomland was a short-lived, US history-themed amusement park conceived by Cornelius Vanderbilt Wood (who had been a "Disneyland" planner) in the Baychester area in The Bronx, New York City. Freedomland was only open from 1960 to 1964. Plate images include - steamboat, locomotive, stage coach, streetcar, open air auto. NM.
