Item Description
Greene is perhaps best known for the lead role in the long-running British TV series "The Adventures Of Robin Hood," which ran for 143 episodes from 1955-1959. (See Robin Hood lot #2807.) First is 5.5x7" vintage fan photo from his days at Twentieth Century-Fox Studios, as photo comes w/matching envelope w/Fox return address. Greene joined the studio in 1938, leaving when World War II broke out. Photo has been signed in green ink "To Sophia, Best Wishes - Richard Greene." Evenly aged but o/w Exc. Envelope has mailing label w/"Sophie" name. It appears Greene misspelled the girl's name. Envelope has wear from mailing and opening. Fine. Second item is 4.5x6" album page signed "Best Wishes - Richard Greene" in ink. Vertical fold at center w/staple holes at left margin. VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
