Item Description
Thin celluloid 5-3/8" tall in incredible realistic coloration. Cello surface has quite a few extremely tiny indents that do not detract much at all from the striking visual image of this piece. The cuff area, complete with simulated cuff link, promotes "Lucas Tinted Gloss Paint/Never Looses A Customer." Text on the palm of hand suggests rubbing a finger which has been colored white on this example piece to show that white lead paint after several months rubs off like chalk whereas "Rub Your Finger On Lucas Tinted Gloss Paint/It Won't Come Off!" Tiny text copyright of W&H 1905 patent. Piece also has one virtual pinpoint hole near the bottom. Overall Fine but displays beautifully. Rare.
