Item Description
Three page 8.5x11" typed report on onionskin paper is dated June 22, 1967. "Minutes Of Special Meeting Of Shareholders Of Jackie Cooper Productions, Inc." Meeting was called for the dissolution of the Jackie Cooper Productions Corporation. Cooper was an American actor, television director, producer and executive. He was a child actor who managed to make the transition to an adult career. He was also the first child actor to receive an Academy Award nomination, for 1931's "Skippy." Cooper is also known for his work on Hal Roach's "Our Gang" series, joining in 1929's "Boxing Gloves" short. He was initially only a supporting character in the series, but by early 1930 he had done so well w/the transition to sound films that he had become one of the Gang's major characters. Contract has been signed twice by Cooper in blue ink and once by his wife and secretary, Barbara Cooper in black felt tip pen. Pair of punched holes at top as issued. Light handling wear and a few tiny bits of paper missing along bottom margin of last page. Fine overall w/signature areas remaining bold and Exc. From the Phil Delaney Collection. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
