Item Description
This piece is 9/16" square made of white metal with stud reverse. The diamond area is designed as base paths with four bags at the corners. At center is full figure of him holding a bat ready to swing. Text on the base paths reads "Capt/Anson/City/Clerk." He was successful in this 1905 Chicago election although two years later he ran for sheriff and lost. Tiniest bit of flatting of the metal on his cap and nose but hardly detectable without magnification. Rare and Exc. displaying at least NM.
