Item Description
Two page 8.5x11" typed document on onionskin paper is dated Dec. 13, 1967. Document is on Wyman, Bautzer, Finell & Rothman law office letterhead and regards the "Fisher-Taylor Settlement" concerning Fisher's divorce from film actress Elizabeth Taylor. Document also notes adoption of Taylor's daughter Elizabeth Frances "Liza" Todd. She was eventually adopted by Taylor's fifth husband Richard Burton. Fisher, Taylor's fourth husband, was friends w/her third husband Michael Todd, and consoled Taylor after Todd's death. They began an affair while Fisher was still married to Debbie Reynolds, causing a scandal. Document has been signed by lawyer and Fisher has signed in black ink. Pair of punched holes at top and pages have been stapled. Folded w/lt. handling wear. Fine w/signature area displaying Exc. From the Phil Delaney Collection. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
