Item Description
From same set as #1129. Card front reads "Santa Clara B.B.C. Mesa-Outfielder." Slight margin trim but both sides of card remain very clean and image is sharp. Pablo "Champion" Mesa was a member of the Cuban Stars great outfield trio that he formed with Martin Dihigo and Alejandro Oms during the 1920's. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1964. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
