8x10” matte finish photo shows happy Dizzy Dean standing in front of car w/arms around two men in front of “S & L Tire Co.” store. Lower left has “Block Bros” photo credit text in ink. Reverse side has text including 1931 date, names Sol Cohan and A. F. Ruppenthal noting “Cohn Gave Diz 5 Tires For Having His Picture Taken With Diz”. Minor aging. Exc. Great image of legendary Hall of Fame hurler, the last in the National League to win 30 games in one season. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes w/Hake’s COA.
