Wonderful nighttime image of storefront w/illuminated view of elaborate display promoting "Congoleum Rugs" and their promotion featuring Disney characters. Hanging store sign reads "Harold's 1911-1934." In total there are 16 different display pieces featuring Disney characters. This includes five Old King Cole displays, one large and two small Mickey's (see item #2118 which is same large Mickey as shown in the photo), plus a large and small Minnie (although large Minnie mostly obscured by post). The other cardboard displays are of various shapes/sizes and all relate to Congoleum: characters featured include Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Big Bad Wolf & Three Little Pigs. A couple of these we have offered in the past few auctions but most we have never seen/offered in our 46 years. Also in the center of the display is an actual Ford car which was one of five offered in the promotion. In the background are hanging and rolled rugs.
