14 1/2 x 23 x 4 1/2" deep box contains play set #7016 from 1954. Nicely illustrated box shows images of many of the items contained in this set. Box has few light creases on corners of lid, one bottom corner has moderate creasing. Lid has 1" x 1/2" piece of surface paper gone due to tape removal. Tape on front edge is still present but these minor defects are not offensive and box displays Fine overall. About 75% of original inside partitions are present, some w/ creasing VG. Contents of this set are basically the same as the Rex Mars Planet Patrol set #7024 but this is the later version marketed as Space Drome. Set appears complete. Contents include 9 tin litho fence sections as issued along with entrance way with doors marked "Rex Mars Planet Patrol". Tin litho space building with morse code clicker on back roof has been assembled. Hard plastic accessories include rocket launcher and 3 rockets, pom pom gun w/ shells, saucer launcher and saucer, futuristic 6" long space car, radar unit, fuel tanks, observation dome for top of space building etc. Space building interior accessories in hard plastic include control chair, cabinets, benches, tables, control panel, etc. Set also come with 3 groups of 20 soft plastic figures in different colors, as well as 15 clear plastic helmets that mount on figures w/ helmet collars. Figures are dressed in typical space suits and a few aliens are included. Has original instruction sheet with heavy overall wear, Good. Tin litho pieces including building show light wear, VF overall. All other contents are otherwise Exc./NM.
