Item Description
Glossy 7-7/8x10-1/8" publicity still for 1951 film "The Lavender Hill Mob." Guinness is perhaps best known for his collaborations w/director David Lean - "Great Expectations" (1946), "Oliver Twist" (1948), "The Bridge On The River Kwai" (1957, (for which Guinness won the Best Actor Academy Award), "Lawrence Of Arabia" (1962), "Doctor Zhivago" (1965) "A Passage To India" (1984). In later years, he achieved fame w/younger audiences for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original "Star Wars" trilogy. Still has been signed at lower right in blue ink. NM. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
