Item Description
20x26.5x5.5" deep wooden box lighted display has large cardboard image of Buster Brown and Tige w/Buster having die-cut eyes w/paper labels applied over top. Display light blinks, alternating Buster between having both eyes lit when top "Buster Brown" name section lights and winking w/one eye. Lower right has separate plastic arrow (left tip is broken off) w/"Look For The Boy And Dog In The Shoe" and has provided hole, though only light bulb can be seen. Text on display reads "Listen To Smilin' Ed McConnell And His Buster Brown Gang Every Saturday Morning - Over NBC." Smilin' Ed's show ran from 1943 to 1953. Display has scattered wear w/color rubs and scratches. Two 1" cracks at bottom right/side. Rewired and working. Fine. Rare.
