7.25x12.5” copyright 1883 J.C. Ayer Lowell, Mass. Front has choice litho image of African American “Dr. Bolus” w/crying baby on his lap as her little brother watches. Doctor’s suitcase on floor is open revealing various Ayer’s products. Reverse side promotes the pills benefits. Front has faint crease across doctor's face, trace of bottom edge wear. Reverse has heavy aging w/bits of missing surface paper from scrapbook removal. Front displays Fine/VF. Superb design.
