c. 1905-1910. 13x19.25” tin litho store sign w/scrolled corners. Family is depicted in yard w/father winking at viewer while holding unopened product bottle as mammy type holds watermelon and son kneels in center. An empty “Paul Jones Whiskey” case is at right w/chicken inside. Scene is titled “The Temptation Of St. Anthony” w/“Louisville Ky.” text at bottom edge. Top edge has two die-cut holes for hanging. “Paul Jones” name at top is painted over, bottom edge over paint of text is cleaned off. VG.
