Item Description
c. 1960s designs w/paper mats for proposed premiums. Each design is on a vellum sheet w/6.75x8” image area in lead and colored pencil attached to art board. First has great image of speed boat at top w/“ZZOOMMMM” text and boy and girl at bottom racing boats in water. “Post” logo is an applied stat, otherwise all else is original art w/hand lettered text. Photocopy sheet showing outline of premium on sprue comes along. Second design has applied hand colored photocopy of motorcycle at upper right w/“Post” logo stat, all else is original art w/hand lettered text including “Gravity Action Motor/Watch ‘Em Zip Across The Table” and art of boy and girl watching race. Blank margins have tanning from cellophane tape, both image areas are bright and Exc. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
