Item Description
From same set as #1063. Bottom margin text reads "Habana 1910 Valentin Gonzalez Suplente Punch Cigarros." Top left corner has tiny 1/16" dia. insect hole but image is strong and distinct. Valentin "Sirique" Gonzalez played in the Cuban Leagues from 1890-1911 and was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1939. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
