6.75x19.5" paper sign w/unused adhesive strips on right/left margins for window mounting. Top right has small penciled notation "Sept. 1947" which dates this piece to when Topps first issued Bazooka gum. Features large image of the first incarnation of Bazooka Joe at right along w/a second smaller image of him and a pack of "5¢ Super Six/6 Big Chews" at left. Text includes "Hey Kids! For Bigger, Better Bubbles It's New Bazooka The Atom Bubble Gum/Free Comics In Every Package/Save The Wrappers For Big Prizes." Has four vertical crease lines, two are as issued. Moderate margin aging/wear w/few tiny tears and moisture staining at right. Still nice appearance w/strong color. VG. Early, historic and rare.
