Item Description
4" dia. nickel-plated brass case clock has stamped patent date of March 2, 1886 on back by built-in winding key. Clock face is whimsical paper face w/die-cut mouth that is animated when wound to open and close, separate paper mouth accent piece is visible through die-cut mouth area. Face is darkened w/age and brass case is slightly tarnished w/age. Clock and its animation both work. Fine overall. Great early design.
