Item Description
Lot of three 11.5x16.5" acetate sheets, each with cel image of about 4x6". Each is a full figure image in slightly different pose including one with eyes closed. Sequence numbers are "749, 750, 751." These are among the first animation cels ever done of Roger to help prove the concept would work. These were shot and committed to film before it was decided to change the shading and coloring scheme. For instance, Rogers appears here as a gray rabbit which was the original intention. As everyone knows, he was ultimately white so while similar animation appears in the film, these particular cels never made it to the "big screen." Cels are 100% authentic Roger Rabbit as produced by Richard Williams and the Disney crew to produce the first Roger "effect" reel made by Industrial Light And Magic Studio. Exc.
