Item Description
14.5x23” thin art board w/13.5x19.75” India ink image area w/12 panels for Nov. 6. Mr. Wilson has lost his pipe and thinks Dennis took it, accusing Dennis of being a smoker and a midget. Mrs. Wilson defends Dennis, who shows up at the front door in a Halloween mask causing her to faint. Entire page is hand done, including logo signed by creator Hank Ketcham and Hall Syndicate copyright. Blank margins have a few editorial notes and are a bit yellowed. Image area is Exc. Comes w/separate 10x14” printed sheet which has been nicely hand water colored as a guide for printing purposes. Sheet has vertical fold in center w/handling creases. Bright and VG. Great pair to frame and display together. Well drawn and funny example w/Mr. Wilson pitted against his arch nemesis Dennis.
