Item Description
Two items. 6-5/8x11” thin art board has 6x7.75” India ink image area ©1984 Charlie Roberts. Lisping Baby Thid is at the dinner table wondering if he can mail “Thtarvin’ Kidth In India” his “Vegetableth An Keep Dethert”. Art was penciled and lettered by Roberts and inked by San Diego Comic-Con founder and “Steve Canyon” letterer Shel Dorf. 25 originals were done in the series, w/one running every other week in the “Ocean Beach/Point Loma Beacon” in San Diego 1984-1985. Comes w/8.5x11” 25th anniversary sheet titled “Uncle Charlie’s Cartoon Tips” # “19 of 25” © Charlie Roberts July 2009 w/tongue in cheek guide to drawing Baby Thid. Both are Exc./NM and can be inscribed w/an original Baby Thid sketch by creator if desired.
