10.5x14" complete July 12, 1943 issue featuring classic image of Roy Rogers on rearing Trigger on cover. Six-page article inside magazine with several bw photos including photo w/his first wife and two young daughters, cowboy wardrobe, and opening fan mail. Rogers has boldly signed in black felt tip pen at upper right front corner of front cover "Happy Trails - Roy Rogers & Trigger." Original mailing label has been removed. Issue has scattered handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and scattered age spotting. Fine overall. Signature remains bold and displays Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
