Item Description
Gold Key 1955 issue of "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier" comic book features classic photo cover of Fess Parker as Davy and has been signed in black felt tip pen by Parker, who adds "Davy Crockett" character name as well as Buddy Ebsen, who played Davy's sidekick George Russel. Ebsen has added "Best Wishes." Comic book shows obvious wear w/pinch creases to spine and creases to covers and is VG. Signatures remain bold and would frame for a nice appearance. Parker (1924-2010) and Ebsen (1908-2003) starred in the Disney 1955-1956 TV show which started a nationwide craze for anything related to Davy Crockett. Nice vintage signed item. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
