c. 1960s. 8.75x10.25” Bainbridge illustration board has 4.75x8.25” watercolor design w/central image of Davy Crockett-Daniel Boone type in coonskin cap and fringe jacket holding Indian scalp in left hand and knife in right hand. Bottom has Indian warriors approaching wooden fort. Unsigned, likely a paperback book cover design. Blank margins have dust soil, image area bright and Exc. Nicely detailed.
