Dated Aug. 1941. 13.25x31.75” showing “Second Engineers Training Group Fort Belvoir Virginia”. Six white officers are seated in center, all other soldiers are African American. The Army wasn’t integrated until 1948. Full name list just beneath photo. Barracks are shown at top and bottom. Photo has lt. but even age tanning, some lt. creasing, blank margin edges have a few lt. moisture marks. Will frame to Fine/VF appearance. Taken just months before the attack on Pearl Harbor marking our entrance into WWII. Historic.
