Item Description
All are from the newsman Harry McLaughlin Collection. The first three and both of the letters are personally inscribed to him. First is 5x7” “George Romney.” Tape mark on back. Second is 6x9” “Henry Hyde” Exc. The remainder are about 8x10 including the typed letters signed. They are Florida Sen. Edward Gurney (tape on back). An accompanying letter dated Nov.2, 1973 and signed. Exc. Next is Ill. Senator Charles Percy with accompanying letter dated March 7, 1968 and signed. Last is signed photo “John Heinz” of Pa. who died in a helicopter crash in 1991. Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA.
