Item Description
This DeWitt/Sullivan #9 has Van Buren portrait and birth date on the obverse with reverse showing a scale favoring "Democrats" over "Whigs" and slogan "Weighed In The Balance & Found Wanting." 15/16" brass with rim hole as made and in outstanding NM condition with lovely patina. Rare in this condition. Second is 1-1/8" brass with Harrison portrait, name and birth date on obverse. Reverse shows log cabin and cider barrel with slogan "The People's Choice/The Hero Of Tippecanoe." Rim hole as made. Some smoothing of the details and a cleaned example but displays very nicely with golden brass tone.
