Auction #208 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
7/8" x 1-1/16". Shows log cabin with door and window in front, cider barrel left and flag atop the roof. Extremely slight and minor tonal variation of the pink color with the color in the upper right quadrant just a bit darker than the rest. Glass surface has a few very shallow and short hairline scratches that show only slightly in reflected light. Beveled glass edges and corners are perfect. Brass frame has Mint luster. The reverse vertical pin is replaced by a very old brass straight pin that can swivel and be secured by the original clasp. Unlisted in Hake. A beautiful example executed in seldom seen pink color and scarcer vertical format, rather than typical horizontal format.
