Item Description
First is 1.5" silver luster white metal holed as made for suspension. This is DeWitt/Sullivan 1888-3. Front has his name and office while reverse shows U.S. Capitol and text "Inaugurated March 4, 1889." Surface has very slight dent plus small nick by the hole at the top but mostly on the side edge and reverse. Second item is a common medalet but seldom seen with it's original hanger. Hanger is a paper rwb American flag designed as a bow set into a brass frame. Reverse has neatly resoldered pin on reverse. Medal below has his name, portrait and 1888 date while reverse reads "Republican Candidate For President." Light age on the paper bow but so unusual to find it intact. Third item is rwb on brass figural enamel flag lapel stud. This is unlisted in Hake. Last is octagonal medal of white metal listed as DeWitt/Sullivan 1888-24. Front has his portrait while reverse shows American flag over printed by date "1888" and with surrounding text "Harrison & Morton." VF. Nice group of four pieces.
