Item Description
From the same set as #1114. Bottom margin text reads "Philadelphia 1910 Davis 1 B." Davis led the AL in home runs from 1904 to 1907, one of only five players to have ever lead their league for four consecutive seasons. He was the starting first baseman and first captain of manager Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics from 1901 to 1910. He was a three time World Series champion, 1910, 1911, 1913. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
