Item Description
From the same set as #1114. Bottom margin text reads "Detroit 1910 Jones 1 B." Margin wear includes tiny tip off bottom right corner but image is strong and sharp. He played eight seasons in the AL with the Baltimore Orioles (1902), St. Louis Browns (1904–09), and Detroit Tigers (1909–10). In 1908, Jones led the AL in putouts (1,616) and double plays (79). Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
