Item Description
From the same set as #1114. Bottom margin text reads "Philadelphia 1910 Mc-Yntyre L.F." Has a .25" tear at top right, well away from the image, which remains distinct. Matthew W. "Matty" McIntyre played ten seasons in the Major Leagues with the Philadelphia Athletics (1901), Detroit Tigers (1904–10), and Chicago White Sox (1911–12). He led AL in 1908 in runs, singles, times on base, and plate appearances. He played in the 1908 and 1909 World Series for the Tigers. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
