From the same set as #1134. Glossy photo front w/text below portrait "Luque Base Ball." Bold image. Luque was an early 20th century Cuban starting pitcher in Major League baseball. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds HOF in 1967. A native of Havana, Luque played winter baseball in the Cuban League from 1912 to 1945. He was also a long-time manager in the league. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1957. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
