Item Description
Big 2.25" with cartoon baker holding up the "NRA Member/We Do Are Part" logo. When the Loose-Wiles biscuit company was formed in Kansas City in 1902 the owners envisioned a factory filled with sunlight and thus they adopted the name Sunshine for their products. In 1912 they opened their "Thousand Window" bakery on Long Island, and this remained the largest bakery building in the world until 1955. This button is c. 1933 and both the largest and most graphically interesting NRA button we know of. A tiny black mark on the baker's uniform was dirt now removed. The button is NM displaying Mint. Rare.
