Item Description
7/8" button with lightly aged backpaper naming famous cigar/tobacco company "Henry Clay And Bock & Co. Ltd. Habana." Reverse collet has lost the silver flashing but there is no stain and the button displays Mint. This is from a very large series of cartoon buttons given with tobacco products in Cuba c. 1913. See #650 picturing Cuban aviator and large groups of these as #1319-1320. From the Richard Merkin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA. Rare.
