Item Description
Smallest in the group is .5" wide "USO" brass pin while largest is 1.75" "U.S. Marines" button. The group includes several items prior to USA war entry with two of these referencing "Registered For National Defense." The last 13 items in this group reference the "U.S.O." and a couple of these in the bottom row are post-war. Starting top to bottom some of the more distinctive pieces include: Bundles For America, Stromberg-Carlson, American Women's Voluntary Services, U.S. Army Ordnance/Keep 'Em Shooting" (two hairline air streaks), Lincoln penny with victory symbol and suspended second penny forming a helmet, US Merchant Marine, Ships For Victory, All Farm Service Is Patriot Service Now, Dentistry To Victory, and numerous other scarce pieces. All but a couple of the items are Exc. and the group displays NM to Mint.
