Item Description
Each of these is 1.25" done in black and white but with brilliant red and blue color tinting. These are c. 1940-41 and were issued prior to Pearl Harbor. First reads "I Am For Peace." The second reads "America First Last And Always." The third reads "Stay Over Here With Me." We believe these are the only three buttons in this series although they are known in a smaller 1" size. The middle button includes image of Statue Of Liberty. Two of these have small cardboard in the back with a price of "5¢" and with other penciled numbers seemingly indicating their issue date as February 19, 1941. Gorgeous Mint examples and scarce. From the Hake Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
