Each reverse has matching ink stamp reading "Asoc Nac De Peloteros/Profesionales De Cuba" along w/image of a glove, baseball and crossed bats. All postcard backs are unused w/the exception of De La Cruz. Players featured in this set are from The Cuban Players League or Players Federation League. This was yet another alternative to the Cuban Winter League. It ran from October 30, 1947 through March 10, 1948 at La Tropical Stadium and was formed by a union established by Cuban players. The league was loaded with stars but administrative and financial problems led to the league lasting just one year. Individual cards are scarce and this is a very rare opportunity to obtain this many at one time.
