12" long tin litho wind-up toy w/built-in key. c. 1935. Text reads "Flash Gordon - ©King Features Syndicate - Rocket Fighter." This is version w/o "No.5" text on side fins. Toy works, traveling forward and sparking as a pinging sound is heard. Complete w/original tail fin. Some aging w/scattered small paint nicks. 1/8" paint flakes one each side of Flash Gordon pilot head. Glossy and Fine. Classic Flash Gordon toy.
