Box contains 7.5" long hard plastic gun/flashlight. Marx. 1950s. This gun came in two colors - red and blue - and was produced for both Space Patrol and Tom Corbett Space Cadet. This is the much rarer blue Space Cadet version. Comes w/envelope containing "Auxilliary Red And Green Signal Lenses" which are circular sheets of colored plastic that were slipped in front of light to produce a color "ray." Atomic pistol produces "Sensational Super 300 Ft. Beam" and has dial to adjust settings on side of gun along w/"Super Beam Signal Ray" raised text. Box has scattered aging/handling wear w/creases and small tears at corners and some scattered dust soiling. VG/Fine. Atomic Pistol works. Side w/o "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" text on handle has some minor age fading but gun is VF overall. First we've offered of this version and color in our 47 years. From the John Bowers Collection.
